If the school bus has seats available for additional students after a determination of actual ridership has been made, then students living close to the eligibility boundary line (1 mile or 1 1/2 mile - See Ridership) could be eligible for busing. Additional stops are not added to the route to accommodate space available seating and space available seating may be temporary if additional busing eligible riders present themselves in the future.
